You’ll be picked up by your tour guide and driver at your hotel in Hanoi. They’ll take care of everything, from driving you around to providing insightful commentary on the sites you’ll visit.
9:45 AM – Visit Bat Trang pottery village and enjoy a pottery-making experience
Bat Trang pottery village is one of the oldest and most famous pottery villages in Vietnam. You’ll have a chance to witness the traditional process of making pottery, from shaping the clay to firing it in the kiln. You can even try your hand at making your own piece of pottery to take home as a souvenir.
11:30 AM – Depart for Tran Quoc Pagoda and West Lake
Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century. The temple is located on a small island on West Lake, which is the largest lake in Hanoi.
12:15 PM – Explore Tran Quoc Pagoda and take in the tranquil surroundings of West Lake
At Tran Quoc Pagoda, you’ll be able to explore the beautiful temple complex and learn about its history and significance. You’ll also have time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of West Lake, which is a popular spot for locals to relax and escape the bustle of the city.
1:30 PM – Head to the Old Quarter for a walking tour and coffee tasting
The Old Quarter is the historic heart of Hanoi, where you’ll find narrow streets lined with old shophouses and traditional markets. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of the area, pointing out its most interesting sites and sharing stories about its history and culture.
You’ll also stop at a local coffee shop to try some of Vietnam’s famous coffee. A cup of Egg Coffee is suggested, but you can choose another drink.
3:00 PM – Return to the hotel in Hanoi
After a full day of exploring, you’ll be taken back to your hotel in Hanoi. You can sit back, relax, and reflect on the amazing experiences you had on your tour.

We had such a wonderful time exploring Hanoi with this tour. The visit to Bat Trang pottery village was a highlight, and we loved the hands-on experience of making our own pottery. Tran Quoc Pagoda and West Lake were absolutely stunning and we enjoyed learning about the history and significance of these iconic landmarks.
