First, to come to Nha Trang first, you can choose a motorbike, car, or plane … depending on the starting location.
If using an airplane, after getting off at Cam Ranh airport, you move to the hotel and rest then take a taxi to the location to move to Hon Tam.
There are 2 ways to go straight to Hon Tam:
Option 1: Sign up for the Hon Tam tour, while on the tour, the guide will take you to visit Hon Tam by boat and to other amusement places on the island. This option is quick and convenient for first-time visitors.
Option 2: Buy your own ticket to rent a canoe to the island. This way you can take control of the time and go straight to Tam island spending time to wait for visiting other neighboring islands.
However, to save the most money you should hire a canoe with other passengers. Each canoe can carry up to 25 guests and has about 20 trips and returns per day. The latest one is 10:00 pm.
