Located 10km northeast of Da Nang city centre, established by the late Venerable Thich Thien Nguyen, the pagoda was started construction in 2004 and was inaugurated in 2010.

Linh Ung Pagoda has an area of ​​about 20ha located at the 693m above sea level. This temple locates in the middle of Son Tra mountain, bearing the shape of a tortoise.
